Delta Eight Pharms was founded in 2013 to serve the emerging Cannabis industry by providing expertise on establishing and operating a Health Canada licensed facility. Based on personal experience of the profound medical properties of Cannabinoids, our founders have accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience over the last twenty-five years. We endeavor to help others cultivate compassion by growing top quality GMP approved Cannabis for medical purposes within the Health Canada Cannabis licensing framework.

Gavin Clark has a deep understanding of cannabis and the developing industry in Canada as well as internationally. This includes the many beneficial properties of cannabis chemistry, their medical applications as well the legal framework regulating it in Canada.

A graduate of the University of Western Ontario in Political Science, Gavin has been a medical cannabis patient for more than twenty-five years and has been researching various aspects of medical cannabis use for most of that time. As a Cannabis studies instructor at the North American College of Pharmaceutical Technology in Toronto and Mississauga, Gavin educates others with his wealth of knowledge of Cannabis chemistry, plant sciences and the legislation regulating Cannabis in Canada.



As Managing Director of Delta Eight Pharmaceuticals, Gavin is involved in research and development work in medical and recreational Cannabis. Gavin has provided consulting to publicly traded companies such as Up Cannabis/Newstrike Brands Inc. More recently, he has served as Chief Operating Officer to Toronto based Medz Cannabis Inc. during their awarding of cultivation, processing and medical sales licenses in 2019.


A long-time resident of the GTA, Gavin currently resides in Mississauga, Ontario with his wife Sarah and son Alastair.

A born communicator, I have been a writer at heart since I first put pencil to paper. My early love of language lead to a life-long passion with communications. Over the years, I have had the unique opportunity to learn from some of the most respected educational facilities, like the University of Western Ontario and I currently participate in online studies via Coursera. Aside from a strong background in Communications, I have experience with provincial pandemic planning and training from the CDC in Crisis and Emergency Response Communications. While working at Canadian Blood Services, I was fortunate to receive extensive media training and experience training others. In my spare time, I love reading, knitting, and losing at FIFA to my son.
